There is a cluster of a dozen columns about a hundred feet away (see previous photo) and then there are these two, standing all by themselves. What happened to the other ones? Why were these two the only ones to remain standing? Perhaps they should have built the entire temple like they built these two columns because then maybe it would all be still standing. And I love the pieces all lying around the ground. Is putting them back together someone's rainy day project?
