We saw some locals lining up to buy some corn from a street vendor. Who doesn't like corn? We watched to see how they ordered it and then copied everything they did. When in Rome, ya know. The corn had two BIG spoonfuls of mayonnaise (kid you not), a half cup of queso, half a lime squeezed on it, and a spoonful of chili powder. You then stir everything so that it's well combined and enjoy. We forgot the enjoy part. It was absolutely horrible! Bleh! So much for going local.
