A traghetto is like a gondola, only much cheaper. The sole purpose of the traghetto is to take you from one side of the canal to the direct opposite side (like 50 feet away) in a spot where there is no bridge to walk across. Jeff thought it was funny that Rosemary and Clint chose to sit for the 30 second ride. The boat did rock a bit but Jeff and I chose to tough it out by standing like natives. Um, natives fall in the water, too, right?
