Return to the Homeford

This is the kitchen. Before we moved in, the kitchen was very dark. The cabinets were a very dark wood, and the paneling on the walls made the whole kitchen feel very, well, dark! Since I would be in this room a lot, I wanted a happy and inviting environment. We pulled the yellow, blue, and green colors from a wallpaper border we were going to hang. Two years later, there's no border (and I think I like it without it anyway). I may frame the sample border piece, just so people know where we were coming from with the color scheme. On paper, the colors seem too bold but I love my kitchen!
